Oh, So You Want to Be a Cinema Snob? Then Queue Up One of These Cult Classics ASAP

While we’re all trying our best to spend the rest of 2020 hunkered down at home counting down the days until this cursed year ends, we might as well cross some must-watch movies off our lists—starting with the cult classics your “cool film friends” won’t stop talking about.

Just so we’re all on the same page here, cult classics often don’t do amazing when they hit theaters (some of these movies straight-up bombed, to be honest), but eventually they garner a dedicated, passionate, and—in the case of my love for Hocus Pocus—deranged fandom. In the event that you’re looking for something new to stan in your never-ending free time, here are 11 cult movies to get you started, friend.
