A post uploaded by Emalahleni FM News has captured the hearts of South Africans. Police officials have gone the extra mile for a 61-year-old-deaf lady and her family.
Sergeant Patricia Nomsa Sindane, Constable Sandile Msibi and Constable Tebogo Masango under the command of Sergeant Mabitje Mampa attended a call-out to 2156 Bhodli Section in Phola.
It was there that they found 61-year-old-deaf lady in need. She was living with her visually impaired daughter and her three grandchildren.
The police were so concerned by the family’s living conditions that they approached the community for sponsorships and donations.
Briefly.co.za learned that Mr Ben Zwane and Mr Wander Mashiane of Sinawe Security Services donated two beds, one kitchen unit, three blankets, one comforter, four mat carpets and four pillows.
The officers are continuing to source more donations for the family. The old lady was overcome with gratitude for the police officers and Sinawe Security Services.
