Nayas death has officially ruled a drowning, and the manner of death was said to be an ‘accident.’ Nayas body was found 5 days after her disappearance.
In the lawsuit, Ryan Dorsey is filing on behalf of the couple’s young son and claims he hassuffered substantial economic and non-economic damages as a result of Nayas death, including financial support that Naya would have contributed to Josey, her only child.”
Also, he is suing for funeral and burial expenses, the reasonable value of household services that Naya would have provided. Joseys non-economic damages include the loss of Nayas love, companionship, comfort, care, assistance, protection, affection, society, moral support, and loss of Nayas training and guidance as his mother.
The County of Ventura has yet to respond to the lawsuit.
