Mlindo The Vocalist has gotten Mzansi confused over his story, it is almost as if there are two versions of the same event.
He was seen to be visibly drowsy in a video last week leading to speculation as to what had happened to him after he was carried off stage by his bodyguards.
According to ZAlebs he was recorded as saying:
I have a problem with my knees and yesterday [Monday, 30 November 2020] the venue was packed and the stage was wet. I was performing the last song of the evening and someone pulled me into the crowd and I couldnt get up which is why a bodyguard had to come and pick me up.
A video was circulated of Mlindo accepting a drink from someone in the audience, which led people to believe that perhaps his drink had been spiked and people would probably be happy with that explanation.
However, Mlindo doubled down on the weak knee story by coming onto stage with crutches at his next performance in KwaZulu-Natal.
Peeps are not sure if his drink caused him to fall or his weak knee.
Earlier, Briefly.co.za reported that Mlindo The Vocalist is still under the spotlight as more revelations about his disturbing viral video are coming to light. The footage showed the Amablesser hitmaker stumbling and struggling to walk as a result of intoxication, allegedly.
However, in a video, he shared online on 3 December, a male voice could be heard saying they spiked his drink because he is “stubborn”. Mlindo asked Soshanguve people what he had done to them to deserve what they did.
“Sosha what did I do to you?”
In other news, Briefly.co.za reported that Mlindo The Vocalist has taken to social media to apologise for his trending video. A video of Mlindo seemingly drunk has gone viral on social media. The Macala hitmaker took to Instagram on Wednesday, 2 December to share a statement apologising to his fans about what happened on Monday night.
He was in the middle of his performance at an event in Soshanguve when he suddenly fell and had to be carried off stage.
In the viral video, Mlindo can be seen totally out of it and being carried off stage by a bodyguard.
“I would like to sincerely apologise to my supporters and everyone for everything that took place in this past weekend. I will not get into details but I take full responsibility [for] my actions, and I will not blame it on anyone but myself.”
