- The Cambridges are enjoying an idyllic-sounding staycation in the Isles of Scilly.
- Kate Middleton and Prince William were seeing riding bikes and chilling with fellow vacationers.
You know how you have’t left your house in months and all your summer plans have been canceled? Yeah, well the good news is you can live vicariously through Prince William and Kate Middleton, who have reportedly taken their family on a quick “staycation” in the Isles of Scilly (off the coast of Cornwall).
William and Kate were seen “enjoying the weather” and stopping to say hi to locals as they went on a bike ride in the holiday spot, where William vacationed as a child with Princess Diana and Prince Charles.
“William and Kate were riding their bicycles, having a laugh,” a fellow vacationer told The Mirror. “They looked so happy enjoying the weather. I did do a double take. They were really friendly and said hello.”
Meanwhile, a source said that, “They decided on a quick getaway before the children return to school. They were keen to support our travel industry.”
Apparently, Kate and William decided against leaving the country for their summer vacation due to coronavirus concerns, as well as the need to quarantine post-trip getting in the way of their return to work.
Hope they have fun in Scilly! I’ll just be here!
