Blue Ivy Already Stole the Show With Her Cameo in Beyonc’s ‘Black Is King’ Disney+ Special

  • Blue Ivy Carter made a cameo in Beyoncé’s Black Is King Disney+ special.
  • She stole the show, but what else is new?
  • Naomi Campbell gushed about meeting Blue during Andy Cohen’s Watch What Happens Live!

Your attention please: BET, Soul Train, and NAACP Award-winner and all-around coolest 8-year-old Blue Ivy Carter just added another line to her resumé. As part of the countdown for the Black Is King Disney+ visual masterpiece, Beyoncé posted a teaser clip on her Instagram, and once you watch it, you’ll be googling “Blue Ivy merch.”

The trailer starts with the coolest synchronized swimming formation you’ve ever seen in your life (sorry to the Olympic teams) before flashing to Naomi Campbell and, of course, Blue sitting on Beyoncé’s right. Blue’s cameo is super quick, but even in those two seconds, she and her pearlescent accessories stole the show.

It’s not clear how much Blue will be in the special, but with celebs like Lupita Nyong’o, Kelly Rowland, and Tina Knowles Lawson also making appearances, she’s in excellent company.

Leading up to the premiere, Naomi spoke to Andy Cohen on Watch What Happens Live! about Blue and said, “Yes I have [met her], she is a very, very lovely girl. She’s really smart, mature, very intelligent. She’s quite a makeup artist. She’s amazing. She puts stones [on her eyes] and does all this fancy stuff. She can do a perfect cat-eye. She’s a little artist.”
