Why Do Some People Have Good Study Habits and Others Don't?
FRESHMAN YEAR 1967 MY ROOMMATE AND I would go find an empty classroom in which to study. Neither of us wanted to disturb the other so we got lots done. DURING MY SOPHOMORE YEAR, I got in the habit of “study dates” with my girlfriend in the library. There the many coeds in mini-skirts were a bit of a distraction. In subsequent years, I got permission to go into the stacks of the library. It was quiet and fewer coeds distracted me there. However, I found many books to distract me such as the bound issues of Esquire magazine which gave me my fashion sense and collections of “The New Yorker” cartoons. Oh yes, many of my fellow students had attended much better high schools than I had, especially private prep schools. However, back then, those schools were male-only, so the college coeds distracted my prep-school friends even more than the coeds distracted me. Students who can find a place to isolate themselves from distractions probably study better than average students. If you really want to study extremely well, live like a monk.Because People Are Different
Some people are good at organizing, and others aren’t. Some people don’t procrastinate, and others procrastinate all the time.WHY SOME PEOPLE HAVE GOOD STUDY HABITS AND OTHERS DON'T
The diversity in individuals' study habits is multifaceted, largely driven by their inherent nature, which can be influenced by their educational environment and mindset.
Almost Entirely Comes Down to Mindset
