Did Apostle John Travel Through Portals to Write the Book of Revelation?

Revelation 1:1 reads, 'A revelation by Jesus Christ which God gave him to show his slaves the things that must shortly take place. And he sent his angel and presented it in signs through him to his slave John'

The Historical Context of Revelation

Revelation 1:1-2 clarifies, 'The Revelation of Jesus Christ, which God gave him to show to His bond-servants the things which must soon take place, and He sent and communicated it by His angel to His bond-servant John, who bore witness to the word of God and to the testimony of Jesus Christ, of all that he saw.'

The Visions of Apostle John

Apostle John received visions from God. These visions are the beginning of what we now know as the Book of Revelation. While the text does not explicitly mention travelling through portals, the contents within the book suggest a journey through time and space. In Revelation 1:12, it states, 'I turned to see the voice that was speaking with me. And when I turned, I saw seven golden lamps burning, which are the seven Spirits of God. And before the throne there was something like a sea of glass, and in the center and around the throne, I saw four living creatures full of eyes in front and in back'

Understanding the Prophetic Content

The text in Revelations speaks of the 'Apocalypse' or 'Revelation,' which is often misunderstood as the end of the world, but it is actually the return of Christ and the 'sh-t hitting the fan.'

The Seven Seals and the 2019 Theory

The Book of Revelation discusses the Seven Seals, each representing different events leading up to the Second Coming of Christ. In Revelation 6:1-8, the first four seals are described as follows:

Seal 1: A white horse, the rider calls, come, and he overcomes with bow. He is victorious. Seal 2: A red horse, the rider is given a great sword, and it is spoken: 'Take peace, I will make you drink the wine of the fury of the Lord's wrath.' Seal 3: A black horse, a small scales were in his hand. And I heard something like a voice in the midst of the four living creatures saying, 'A quart of wheat for a denarius, and three quarts of barley for a denarius, and do not damage the oil and the wine.' Seal 4: A pale horse, its name is Death, and Hades follows with him. They were given authority over a fourth of the earth, to kill with sword, and with famine, and with death, and by the beasts of the earth.

The book goes on to mention the 'Seventh Thunder,' which Apostle John could not write down (Revelation 10:4). According to one theory, COVID-19 was an emergency addition to the S19 18.6 Theory, as it fits within the broader context of the seals and their interpretation.

The Irony of the Lord's Day

In Revelation 1:10, it is written, 'I was in the Spirit on the Lord's Day.' But it specifies, 'I am the Alpha and Omega, the First and the Last.' This passage has caused much debate, as it indicates that God has moved John in time to 'The Lord's Day,' which is future and not to be confused with the Day of the Lord in Roman and Protestant interpretations (Isa. 13:6-13, Joel 1:15, Obadiah 15-16, Zech. 14:1-11).

Our perspective is that as John has been projected forward to the Lord's Day, which is yet to come, all of Revelation is yet future, based on the theories and interpretations of the 2019 era.
