Another notable figure, Kuppalli Venkatappa Puttappa (KUVEMPU), served as the Vice Chancellor of Mysore University. These great minds have left an indelible mark on the university's legacy. Notable authors such as R.K. Narayan and his brother R.K. Laxman were also associated with the university. In fact, I myself studied at Mysore University from 1971 to 1975, graduating in 1976 during the Convocation. Studying at D. Banumathi's College, which is affiliated with Mysore University, was a transformative experience that shaped my academic and professional journey.
